Plants Toxic to Rabbits (March 2019)

Plants and vegetation are a major part of a rabbit’s diet, even if they are domestic. Timothy hay, for example, is a food source that should be made available at all times.

I’ve already spoken to you about the safety of rabbits eating dandelions, but what about plants and vegetation that can be found in your home, around your yard, or anywhere your rabbit has access to?

We’ve also spoken about plants toxic to dogs and plants toxic to cats, so now it’s time to talk about the plants that are toxic to rabbits.

Plants Poisonous for Rabbits to Eat

Unfortunately, there are a lot of plants that are toxic to rabbits. Unlike my other reviews, I’m going to do a massive list of them for you to look through to ensure it’s easy for everyone.

This is not a complete list, but this list does include the most common and certain uncommon plants that rabbits can come into contact with.
